What type of massage do I need?

Based on your pain levels and the needs of your body, the therapist will recommend the necessary treatment. There will always be an open line of communication for you to change and modify your session to your liking.

What is included in my session time?

The time allotted for your session will include your massage, time to speak with your therapist about how to customize your session to your needs, and time to undress and dress.

What do I do during my massage?

Make yourself comfortable. If you are unsure, the therapist will recommend you to shift and move to a better position. Most people close their eyes and completely relax in their session. The best way to relax is to tune into your inhales and exhales. Conversation is allowed during the session. However, for the best outcome of relaxation, tuning into your body and breath is the way to go.

How will I feel after my massage?

Most people feel a state of bliss. Massage allows a sense of calm and peace come over the body and mind. You may find your pace afterwards might be a bit slower. As the days go by, you should experience higher energy, increased awareness, and a feeling of lightness in the body. Depending on your body's condition, you may experience a period of detox and recalibration. Massage helps stimulate blood flow and remove toxins from the body. This could cause headaches, flu-like symptoms, soreness, or any other detox symptom. If you are feeling this way make sure to drink plenty of water to help flush yourself out and get plenty of rest.

What do I expect for my first visit?

You will be asked to fill out an intake form, so the therapist is familiar with your body's condition. All information you give is protected under the HIPAA laws. You will also be asked general questions to find out what areas of your body you'd like to be worked on. Your therapist may preform assessments to evaluate your condition. It is vital that you let your therapist know any medications, allergies, and serious health conditions so your session can be modified to your needs.

Do I have to be fully undressed during the session?

Any treatment can be modified to your level of comfort. The therapist might recommend you leave your underwear on depending on what kind of techniques will be used in the session. The areas of your body that are not being worked on will remained draped. Areas of the genitals and breasts will not be uncovered for both men and women.

Am I expected to tip my therapist?

No, gratuity is included in service price.

What are our covid precautions?

We do not take any client who has a fever or who has experienced a contagious illness recently.

How do I prepare for my massage?

Please prepare for your massage by ensuring your body is freshly cleaned. Do not wear any perfumes or smells. Eat a light meal or snack beforehand. Drink plenty of water the hours before your session as well. Wear comfortable clothing that can be easily removed. Try to not wear any jewelry or makeup. The only strict enforcement here is to make sure you have proper hygiene. All other recommendations are preferred.

How often should I get a massage?

The frequency of massages depends on your needs. If you're looking to just relax, have preventative maintenance, or have an active lifestyle, we recommend every 3-6 weeks. Now, if you are experiencing a persistent issue, we recommend to receive them frequently until the situation gets under control. Your therapist will discuss more on the frequency of your visits.

Are there any cancellation fees?

If cancellation or reschedule is less than 24 hours in advance, full amount of service is due before next booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us 24+ hours in advance, so that hour can be booked by someone else and you can avoid a fee. We are small business where every hour counts. A fee will not be charged in the case of sickness or an emergency.
