January 1st can be an exciting beginning or a daunting one depending on your perspective.
As we finish up reflecting upon 2024, let us give gratitude for our bodies safely travelling through the space we call time. Although, it's easy to get fixated on all of the wellness routines we didn't start or failed to stick to, it's more important to show intentional appreciation for what you did achieve and how your health was sustained. Putting this loving perspective at the forefront of your mind can allow you to create new ways of wellness from a compassionate space rather than shame or disappointment.
When we speak about health, we need to focus on the aspects that are contained within it. These aspects being : happiness, growth, and longevity. The routines and rituals we integrate into our lives need to be built on a foundation that supports the flourishing of these conditions. That is why self-love and self-appreciation are necessary actions when building our desired lifestyle. They are the ground upon which we build a long-lasting structure for wellness that we grow with pleasure.

Ask yourself,
"What actions did I take last year to prioritize my well-being, and how did they reflect my love and respect for myself?"
"How can I build upon the wellness routines I implemented last year in a way that feels even more compassionate and loving towards myself?"
"What health goals or milestones did I achieve last year, and how do they make me feel proud of myself?"
If you find it difficult to answer these questions, hold a space of compassion for yourself. It's okay to not be where you desire to be. Remember, this moment right here is a time for loving reflection. If you made it to the end of the year alive, that is enough. Give gratitude for that.
I am filled with thankfulness to end the year and begin again with you all. It's an honor to support you in finding your way back home to yourself.
